Chobe is one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations, known for massive elephant herds, diverse landscapes, and exceptional game viewing.

Activities

DAY 1: Arrive in Maun

• Final fuel, food, water & firewood shopping
• Check 4×4 tyres, fluids, spares
• Obtain park entry permits (DWNP or supplier)
Overnight: Crocodile Camp

DAY 2: Maun → Mababe Village / Khwai Community

• Early departure
• Drive north via Shorobe → Sankoyo → Mababe
• Arrive in time for an afternoon drive
• Explore the Khwai River floodplains
• Wildlife: elephants, hippos, wild dogs, leopards
Overnight: Mababe Community Campsite or Mogotho

DAY 3: Explore Khwai & Mababe

• Do the river loops
• Cross the wooden bridge (depending on water levels)
• Drive the open plains of Mababe for cheetah and hyena
Overnight: Khwai/Mababe Community Campsite (2nd night)
